Summon the King brought a forgotten Burger King ghost story to life for Halloween in Puerto Rico. Partnering with the global podcast This Paranormal Life, fans could summon the King by saying “Burger King” three times and trigger immersive haunted experiences with holograms, lights, and sound that ended with a free Whopper. In just two nights, thousands participated, closed restaurants became the busiest of the year, and the campaign reached nearly 80 percent of the island’s population, turning a late-night challenge into a cultural phenomenon.
